Nivens’ News – December 2024
Hear from Lamar CISD Superintendent Dr. Roosevelt Nivens as he updates us on the latest and greatest from across the District including the dedication ceremony for Steenbergen Middle School, which completes our silver track secondary complex. As construction of Tomas High School continues, Dr. Nivens informs us if the new campus will open with a senior class in the fall of 2025. We conclude with a congratulations to the three students who were selected as National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.
