The District has received COVID-19 rapid tests from the state and will begin COVID-19 testing for Lamar CISD students based on nurse assessment of student symptoms on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021. COVID-19 testing will take place Monday through Friday on each of the school campuses.
Students who are determined to need a COVID-19 test must have a completed parent/guardian consent form in the school clinic.
Any student determined to need a COVID-19 test by the clinic nurse can be tested during the school day. All students will be required to wear a mask and testing will be done as needed.
All elementary students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during testing.
