On Monday, Nov. 12, Veteran Martin Almanza received his honorary diploma at a special ceremony at Lamar Consolidated High School. Almanza left LCHS in the 1950's to fight in South Korea and never received his diploma.
Superintendent Dr. Thomas Randle, Board President James Steenbergen and Board Vice President Kay Danziger attended the ceremony to present Private Almanza with his diploma.
