This week, Lamar CISD is recognizing our Family Support Specialists. This coincides with the nationally celebrated School Social Work Week, March 8 - 12.
This year's theme is "Beacon of Hope: Family Support Specialists – Lighting the Way.” In their role, our Family Support Specialists can light the way, emphasizing the whole child, collaborating with other professionals and linking students and families with needed services and support.
