P-EBT Food Benefits Available for Eligible Lamar CISD Families

Jun 02, 2021 | Community Relations

Lamar CISD families with enrolled students may be eligible to receive Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT).

P-EBT provides food benefits to families with enrolled students (up to 21 years of age) who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals for the 2020–2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The P-EBT is issued through an EBT card (similar to a debit card) and families will have one year from the date the benefits were issued to use the P-EBT benefits.

The application for the P-EBT opens June 2, 2021, and the deadline to apply is August 13, 2021. The application is now available for families HERE.

NOTE: If your child attends a middle school in Lamar CISD, you must choose their corresponding junior high school for the application. For example, if your child attends Navarro Middle School, please select George Junior High as your child's campus on your application.
