Lamar CISD recently selected the principals for George Junior High and Wessendorff Middle School.
Dr. Erin Forbes is the new principal of George Junior High.
A graduate of the University of North Texas, Dr. Forbes has her master’s degree from Lamar University and received her doctoral degree from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. She most currently served as the associate principal of Fulshear High School.
During her career in education, Dr. Forbes was also an assistant principal at Foster High School and a teacher for eight years in Katy ISD.
Norman Jones is the new principal of Wessendorff Middle School.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Jones has his master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He most recently served as a middle school principal in Community ISD.
Jones has been an educator for over 13 years, seven of which have been in an administrative role.
