Beasley Elementary School's proud history goes back to 1902, when it first opened its doors to eight students. The Parent-Teacher Organization at Beasley was first organized in 1918, and the school joined the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District in 1947. The current school building was opened in 1985 and is located in Beasley, Texas, a predominantly rural community. The city of Beasley is located in southeast Texas and has a population of approximately 600 residents and our school now has a 377 students.
Beasley provides an exceptional education to all students and has available a variety of instructional programs that have been carefully designed to meet the individual learner's needs. Beasley Elementary provides quality instruction in the basic skills, and, in addition, offers various enrichment programs such as bilingual (grades PK-5), gifted/talented, English as a second language, fine arts, P.E., computers, library media skills, and special reading programs.
Beasley Elementary has been recognized for its outstanding programs and quality education. It has received awards and recognition's for many of our students and staff. We believe that the honors and recognition that Beasley Elementary has received is the result of wonderful students, supportive parents, and dedicated staff working together.
All teachers and students at Beasley Elementary School will grow and excel each year to become successful lifelong learners. We are indeed very proud of our school and community!
