At Lamar CISD Transportation, our mission is to prioritize the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our transportation services to ensure every student has a smooth and secure journey to and from school. Our dedicated team of drivers and staff work tirelessly to provide the highest level of care and professionalism. We are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students, ensuring they arrive at school ready to learn and grow.
Transportation Deadlines
Important deadlines for families requesting bus services:
- Submit the transportation form no later than August 2, for your student to ride the bus for the first day of school.
- If a form is not submitted by August 2, your student WILL NOT receive bus transportation until August 24.
- For all forms submitted between August 3 to August 21, bus transportation will begin August 24.
- Contact your student's campus to request any change in your transportation choice after August 21. Please note, any changes after August 21 may take up to five business days to go into effect.
Transportation Steps
The steps below outline the process for student transportation services.
- All families are required to complete the transportation form in Step 1.
- For families requesting bus services, Steps 2 and 3 provide access to assigned bus route information and available bus tracking tools.

All Lamar CISD parents and guardians must complete the required student transportation form to confirm their student's main form of transportation and to submit an official request for bus transportation for the 2026-2027 school year.

For families requesting bus services, bus route information will be available starting on August 3, 2026. Parents and guardians can access a student’s bus route information through the Versatrans platform linked below.

For families requesting bus services, Lamar CISD offers real-time bus tracking, available on the MyStop application starting August 11, 2026. Families can download the mobile application using the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for Apple devices.
