As part of its ongoing effort to improve education in our community, Lamar CISD is once again asking teachers, students and parents to provide their opinions regarding their school and workplace.

The 2014 climate survey was launched Dec. 1.

This the second year for the survey. More than 11,000 people participated last year.

Designed and administered by K12 Insight, an independent technology and communications firm, the survey covers a number of topics, including academic preparation, student support, parent engagement and school operations.

The survey provides District leadership information that will be used to make improvements in classrooms, campuses and all District operations.

Teachers will receive email invitations to participate in the survey, while students will participate at their campuses. Parents who have provided an email address to the District will receive an invitation at that address.

Parents with children at more than one campus, may take the survey for each of their children by accessing the survey on the District’s YourVoice page.

All answers will be anonymous and confidential.

Once the survey has closed, the District will share results on the District's Your Voice page, linked above.
