Tesla JETI Application Survey
Lamar CISD is committed to providing our community with clear, factual information about matters that may affect the District and the taxpayers we serve.
Tesla has submitted an application under the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology and Innovation (JETI) program for a proposed project located within Lamar CISD.
As the application moves through the process established by state law, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees would like to hear directly from our community. We are asking residents, parents, employees, taxpayers, business owners, and other stakeholders to review the information on the Lamar CISD website about the Tesla JETI application and share any questions they have about the proposed project, the JETI program, and the district's role in the process. The community survey will remain open August 26-28.
The Board will use the questions submitted to better understand what our community would like to know and to identify topics that may require additional information, clarification or explanation.
Our goal is to ensure the community has access to clear, factual information as the JETI application moves through the required review and consideration process.
