McNeill Elementary has "Empowerment Day"

Apr 27, 2017 | Community Relations

McNeill Elementary hosted their first ever “Empowerment Day” April 19. McNeill school counselor Laura Robinson introduced the activity encouraging students to choose one word that represented their greatest quality/characteristic and to turn the word into an “I Am” statement on a t-shirt.

More than 475 McNeill students and staff wore their “I Am” shirts to school with allowing everyone to reflect on the positive qualities that make each and every one of us unique.
