Valedictorian and Salutatorian for George Ranch High's Class of 2018

Graduation exercises for Foster High School's Class of 2018 will be held Friday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m in the Merrell Center in Katy.

Rim Aboulhassane is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2018 at George Ranch High School.

She is the daughter of Amy and Michael Morin and will attend Rice University where she will major in Neuroscience and become a neurosurgeon.

Rim was active in the Pre-med Club, Mu Alpha Theta and Hurricane Harvey relief activities.

She hopes to use her career to advance human health in some way.

Rim advised her classmates to do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.


Tayler Jasek senior portrait final

Tayler Jasek is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2018 at George Ranch High School. 
She is the daughter of Kimberly and Douglas Jasek and will attend either Penn State University or the University of Texas in Austin, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Tayler plans to work at either NASA or the CIA.

Tayler played varsity soccer, is the Senior Class President, volunteers at Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship and is a member of the National Honor Society, the Math Honor Society (treasurer), HOSA, the Psychology Club and HUGS (Help Us Give Smiles). 

Tayler said regardless of her career, she wants to make a tangible, positive impact on the world. 

She advised her classmates to find a passion and have the courage to pursue that passion.
