Valedictorian and Salutatorian for Lamar Consolidated High's Class of 2018

Graduation exercises for Terry High School's Class of 2018 will be held Saturday, June 2, at 2:30 p.m. in the Merrell Center in Katy.

An P. Tran is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2018 at Lamar Consolidated High School.

The son of Tue Tran and Hien Tran, he will attend the University of Texas in Austin and major in Biology/Biomedical Engineering. He plans to become either a doctor or a biomedical engineer.

He was active in the Technology Student Association at Lamar CHS.

An wants to help as many people as possible and have a 12-car garage. His advice to fellow graduates is “pay attention, but have fun.”

Audrey G. Ryburn is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2018 at Lamar Consolidated High School.

The daughter of Eric and Paula Ryburn, she will attend the University of Texas in Austin and major in one of the sciences. Her plans for her career are doing something cool and make the world a better place.

She was the Colonel for the Fillies Dance Team, a member of the National Honor Society and active at her church in youth and choir.

Whatever she ends up doing, Audrey wants to help others succeed. Her advice to classmates is “stay real and don’t be messy.”
