The Briscoe Eagles girls Track Team participated in the Eagle Invitational Track Meet on Thursday. Both the 7th and the 8th grade teams finished in 2nd place.
Placing for the Eagles 7th grade team for the running events in the 100m was Kailah Thomas in 6th place, the 200m was Ciara Mata in 3rd place, the 400m were Grace Mikeska in 1st place, Diana Thatcher in 4th place and Taylor Phung in 6th place, the 800m were Catherine Krieger in 1st place, Grace Mikeska in 2nd place and Aurelie Bogard in 4th place, the 1600m were Kalli Reavis in 2nd place, Lauren Sulak in 4th place, and Karsen Jones in 6th place, the 2400m were Jamie Beck in 5th place and Jessica Knott in 6th place, the 100m hurdles were Sydney Billings in 3rd place and Maddie Maves in 6th place, the 300m hurdles were Maddie Maves in 2nd place and Sydney Billings in 5th place, the 4x 100m relay was Karsen Jones, Maggie Letson, Rockie Thielemann and Kailah Thomas in 5th place, the 4x200m relay was Ciara Mata, Taylor Phung, Maddie Jacks and Taya Burke in 3rd place and Rianna Mosley, Hannah Collier, Sydney Billings and Kailah Thomas in 6th place, and the 4x400m was Grace Mikeska, Taylor Phung, Diana Thatcher and Jessica Knott in 1st place and Aurelie Bogard, Logan Cartwright, Masyn McCool, and Danielle Castillo in 5th place.
In the field events, in the long Jump was Hannah Collier in 2nd place, the shot put was Vanetia Williams in 6th place, the discus was Jasmine Houston in 3rd place, the triple jump were Lauren Sulak in 2nd place and Brittyne LaMonthe in 3rd place, and the high jump was Grace Mikeska in 1st place, Masyn McCool in 3rd place and Maddie Jacks in 4th place.
Placing for the Eagles 8th grade team for the running events in the 100m were Kacie Pryor in 4th place and Bria Tovar in 5th place, in the 200m was Kaitlyn Reinecke in 5th place, in the 400m was Margaret Myers in 5th place, the 800m were Lily Castillo in 5th place and Kensley Thornton in 6th place, the 1600m run was Lily Castillo in 6th place, the 2400m were Hana Johnson in 1st place and Jacey Maples in 5th place, the 100m hurdles was Skylar Turner in 5th place, the 300m hurdles was Erin Johnson in 6th place, the 4x100m relay was Caroline Billings, Alexis Blanton, Bria Tovar, and Lily Castillo in 3rd place and Skylar Turner, Margaret Myers, Kaitlyn Reinecke and Alicai Plata in 5th place, the 4x200m relay was Caroline Billings, Alexis Blanton, Kensley Thornton and Kacie Pryor in 2nd place and Kaitlyn Reinecke, Alicai Plata, Jackie Ojo, and Megan Buena in 5th place, the 4x400m relay was Kensley Thornton, Kacie Pryor, Bria Tovar, and Alexis Blanton in 3rd place and Margaret Myers, Ashlyn LaMonth, Erin Johnson and Sadie Morelli in 5th place.
