Registration

Registering your future Astronaut is as simple as 1-2-3-4!
1. Visit LCISD.org > Students and Parents > Registration and scroll down to Students New to LCISD
2. Follow directions to locate your campus and complete the New Student Online Enrollment Application
3. Gather the required documents: Proof of Residency (closing documents, leasing agreement, fixed utility bill - electric, gas, water), copy of parent/guardian driver's license, student birth certificate, student immunization records
4.Call the front office at 832-223-1000 to schedule your enrollment appointment. 


Attendance

Attendance notes may be sent by email but must come from a parent’s verified email account. The email must be sent to the campus attendance clerk when your student returns to school.  Please include your student's first name, last name, teacher name, grade, the date(s) which your student was absent and the reason for the absence(s).  Please send your notes to our Administrative Assistant at: [email protected]

Breakfast and lunch are FREE to all students at Austin, but students may purchase a la carte items. Your child's student ID number will also be their lunch number. You can also use this number to add money to their account online. Students will use their SMART Tag in the lunch line.

Transportation Changes

Transportation changes must be submitted to the front office before 2:00 p.m. Transportation changes must be submitted by phone call or by a written note. 

On early release days, transportation changes must be submitted to the front office before 10:30 a.m. 

Permanent transportation changes must be made in writing.

For on-site after school care, please call the YMCA at 281-341-0791. Their program is for students K-5 and offered Monday - Friday (on regular school days) until 6:30 p.m.

Car Riders   

Please get a White Austin Visor Tag from your student's teacher. 

Place the White Austin Visor Tag in your front window.

If someone else picks up your child, please make sure they have the White Austin Visor Tag.

Please follow the car rider line route on the side of the building. 

All car riders must be picked up in the car ride line. 

Walkers/Bikers

Please meet your student(s) at the flag pole in the front of the bike rack.

Walker/Bikers will be released first. Please be at the flag pole at 2:40 p.m.

Kinder and 1st grade students must have an adult or older sibling present to receive their child. Individuals receiving Kinder or 1st grade students at the flag pole will need to be in possession of a picture ID, so the staff member can verify release authorization on the first day of school. We will then give a White Austin Walker/Biker Tag to use the following days. You could also get a White Austin Walker/Biker Tag from your child's teacher.

For Kinder and 1st grade, please email your child's teacher if you give permission for your child to be released by an older sibling. We must have this parent permission documentation on file. 

We will not release students to parents parked in the parking lot. You must meet your child at the flag pole.

Briscoe Basketball Rolls Through LCISD Tourney

The Briscoe Lady Eagles 7th grade A team participated in the LCISD tournament on Friday. The Lady Eagles beat George Junior High in the first game with a score of 36-9. The leading scorer for the Lady Eagles was Alicia Blanton with 17 points. Also scoring for the Lady Eagles were Madison Outhier with 6 points; Gabby Hamilton with 5 points; Jonice Arnold, Madison Werner, and Amanda Allen with 2 points each; and Jenay Garcia and Kylie Ashman with 1 point each. Defensive players of the game were Marin Stephan and Madison Outhier. The Lady Eagles won their second game against Lamar Junior High 36-21. The leading scorer was Alicia Blanton with 19 points. Also scoring were Gabby Hamilton with 13 points and Jenay Garcia with 4 points. Defensive players of the game were Alicia Blanton and Amanda Allen. The Lady Eagles move to 7-0.
 
The Briscoe Lady Eagles 7B basketball team played in the LCISD basketball tournament losing to George Jr. High 22-23 and tied with Lamar Jr. High at the buzzard 11-11. Defensive players for the game were Kylie Smink, Taylor Clark, Kylie Stamper, Jordyn Watson, and Lilli Greenwood.
 
The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8th grade B team took two wins home against George Jr. High and Lamar Jr. High Friday night 22-16. Scoring for the lady eagles were Lia Castillo, Gordon, Elise Cheramie, Alex White, Jayleah McCall, Keely Castillo, Kayla Umana, Ajene Robichaux, Megan O'Donnell, Hannah Tawil, and Zoie Voskuhl. The Lady eagles are 5-1 for the season .
 

The Briscoe Eagles 7th Grade boys B basketball team defeated the George Gators Friday night by a score of 25-15. Scoring for the Eagles on offense were Jordan Faltine who scored 7 points, Cayden Redmond who scored 4 points, Richard Marriott who scored 3 points, Wade Faith and Jayden McCardell who scored 2 points each, and Lane Krenek who scored 1 point. Defensive leaders for the Eagles were Chase Cloud, Jordan Faltine, Wade Faith, and Lane Krenek.
 
The Briscoe Eagles 7th Grade boys B basketball team lost to the Reading Longhorns Friday night by a score of 32-20. Scoring for the Eagles on offense were Jordan Faltine who scored 9 points, Wade Faith and Jayden McCardell who scored 4 points each, Richard Marriott who scored 2 points, and Cayden Redmond who scored 1 point. Defensive leaders for the Eagles were Phillip Sameniego, Richard Marriott, Jordan Faltine, and Wade Faith.

Scoring for the Eagles on offense were Reuben Fatheree who scored 8 points, RJ Lamothe and Demari Williams who scored 6 points each, Sammy Afawowe who scored 3 points, and Jacobi Williams who scored 2 points. Defensive leaders for the Eagles were Udoku Ezeani, Will Lewis, Jacob Bush, Jacobi William, RJ Lamothe, and Reuben Fatheree.
 
The Briscoe Eagles 7th Grade boys A basketball team defeated the Reading Longhorns Friday night by a score of 31-25. Scoring for the Eagles on offense were RJ Lamothe who scored 10 points, Jacobi Williams who scored 9 points, Reuben Fatheree who scored 6 points, Jackson Edge who scored 4 points, and Sammy Afawowe who scored 2 points. Defensive leaders for the Eagles were Demari Williams, Udoku Ezeani, Will Lewis, Justice Ugo, and Jacob Bush.

The Briscoe 8A Eagles boys basketball team beat George 30-29. Scoring for the Eagles were Da'lun Terrell with 9 points, Shemar Jones with 8 points, Jonathan Davidson with 4 points, Jorrin Thompson with 3 points, and Jayden Oliver, Dasoni Frasier, and Daniel Hernandez with 2 points each. Defensive players of the game were Adam Ghannam, Vince Hernandez, and Eric Self.
 
The Briscoe 8B Eagles boys basketball team lost to George 31-27. Scoring for the Eagles were Garrett George and Vincent Hall with 5 points each, Wyatt Radcliff and Leonard Smith with 4 points each, Jared Martin with 3 points, and Brandon Tobar, Jharvis Davis, Frederick RIch with 2 points each. Defensive players of the game were Carter Wilson, Paul Guevara, Bryce Luster, Marcus Mehaffey, and Tanner Haynes.

The Briscoe 8A Eagles boys basketball team lost to Lamar 19-18. Scoring for the Eagles were Dasoni Frasier with 6 points, Da'lun Terrell with 5 points, Shemar Jones with 4 points, Jorrin Thompson with 2 points, and Daniel Hernandez with 1 point. Defensive players of the game were Jayden Oliver, Adam Ghannam, Jonathan Davidson, and Eric Self.
