The Briscoe 7th Grade C team tied the Lamar Mustangs 0-0. Leading the defense for the Eagles was Joshua Bernal and Aiden Kennedy. The Eagles record now stands at 1-0-1.
The Briscoe 7th Grade B team fell to the Mustangs of Lamar tonight 0-12. Leading the offense for the Eagles on the night was Matthew Suh and Nicholas Johnson. Defensive standouts for the Eagles was Tyler Somersall with two sacks and Collin Teeter. The Eagles fall to 1-2 in district play.
The Briscoe 7th Grade A team beat the Lamar Mustangs 20-6. TJ Green started scoring with a 75 yard touchdown scamper. Kubosh threw two touchdowns. His first to Owen Cartwright for 25 yard and his second to Ty Moore for 35 yards. Ahmed Hayes converted two extra points on the night. The defense was led by Conner McGahee, with a forced fumble, Sam Haines with a fumble recovery, Jaicherian Bradshaw with a fumble recovery, Xavier Green and Josh Martinez.
The Briscoe 8th grade C football team defeated the Lamar Mustangs 12-0. The Eagles scored on a rushing touchdown from Dane Johnson for 8 yards. Ryan Talley connected with Elias Roman on a 60 yard touchdown pass. Other offensive standouts were Miguel Leventis, Atly Wright, Jorge Galvan, and Kyle Taysom. Defensive leaders included Jazy Mantilla, Toby Wills, Jaylen Greenleaf, and Carter Miller. The Eagles improve to 2-0 in district play.
The Briscoe 8th grade B team football team defeated Lamar by the score of 6-0. Leading the way on offense was quarterback Phillip Amy, running backs Donaven Menard and Phillip Samaniego. Amy scored the games only touchdown on a 25 yard scamper. The Eagle defense shut down the Mustangs all game, keeping them out of the endzone. The defense was led by Sebastian Cuellar, Donaven Menard with an INT, and Tucker Hathorn. With the win the Eagles remain undefeated at 2-0 in district play.
The Briscoe Eagle 8th grade A team defeated Lamar by the score of 14-0. Will Lewis scored on a 60 yard kickoff return to give the Eagles a 7-0 lead. The extra point was added by Taribbean Ramirez. The Eagles also scored on a quarterback sneak by Cole Tipton. Tipton threw the extra point to make the score 14-0. The Eagle defense was led by Jacobi Williams, Bret Bermudes, Ethan Kappes, and Cole Ferguson. The Eagles stay undefeated in district play with a record of 2-0.
