The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8th A volleyball team defeated George Jr. High in two games 25-16, 25-12. Offensive players for the Lady Eagles were Taylor Clark, and Amariah Kendrick. Defensive players for the game were Mackenzie Palmer, Annie Creery, Taylor Clark, Amariah Kendrick, and Karly Hardin. The Lady Eagles improve to 4-1 in district play.
The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8B volleyball team defeated George Junior High in two games. The score of the first game was 25-10 and the second game was also 25-10. Outstanding servers of the night were Katie Kitto, with 14 serves in a row and Maya McDowell, with 10 serves in a row. Offensive players of the game were Katie Kitto, Maya McDowell, Alexis Obialo, Amanda Allen, and Kylie Stamper. The Lady Eagles improve to 4-1 in district play.
The Briscoe Lady Eagles 7th grade A volleyball team brought home a win Thursday night in a three game match against George Jr. High. The Lady Eagles won the first set 25-7 with Ariana DeLeon serving 21 points. The Lady Eagles lost the second game 24-26. The girls came back winning the third set 15-9. Leading the team in serves were Kamryn Williams, Ellen Fairfield, Kalani Relatores, Allison Isbell, Taylor Rich, and Lakira Addison. Defensive players of the game were Raven Jordan, Shealyn Bristol, Olivia Barron, and Laila Hansen. The 7th grade A team is now 4-1 in district play.
The Briscoe 7B Lady Eagles volleyball team fell short to George Junior High last night in a three game match. The Lady Eagles struggled in the first set with a score of 15-25. The girls came back strong in the second set with a score of 25-11. Although the Lady Eagles came out strong, they fell short with a score of 7-15. Leading the team in serves in the second set were Maddie Herring and Dalena Rhodes. Scoring a kill was Tabitha Webster. The Lady Eagles fall to 4-1 in district play.
