The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8B volleyball team overtook Reading in an intense three game match. After losing the first game 16-25, the Lady Eagles came back and won the next two games with scores of 25-21 and 25-18. Offensive players of the night were Kylie Stamper, Lilli Greenwood, Alexis Obialo, Chelsea Crawford, and Amanda Allen. Defensive players of the game were Amanda Allen, Maya McDowell, and Kylie Stamper. The Lady Eagles finished the season with a 7-1 record in district play in second place.
The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8A volleyball team lost to Reading Jr. High in two games 19-25, 14-25. Defensive players for the Lady Eagles were Annie Creery, Caroline O’Driscoll, Lauren Limas, Mackenzie Palmer, Karly Hardin, and Riley Carroll. Offensive players for the Lady Eagles were Annie Creery, and Logan Jordan. The Lady Eagles ended their season with a 6-2 overall district record in third place.
The Briscoe Lady Eagles 7th Grade A volleyball team lost to Reading Jr High last night 25-20 and 25-16. Leading the Eagles in serves were Allison Isbell, Kamryn Williams, Ellen Fairfield, Shealyn Bristol, and Laila Hansen. Defensive players of the game were Raven Jordan, Kalani Relatores, Olivia Barron, Ariana DeLeon, Eliana Zepeda, and Taylor Rich. The Lady Eagles finished the season 6-2 in district play in second place.
The Briscoe Lady Eagles 7B volleyball team fell short to Reading Monday night in a tough two game match. The Lady Eagles battled it out with Reading in the first set, but lost 22-25. Top server for the game was Katie Hendrix. The Lady Eagles lost to Reading in the second game 21-25. Defensive player of the game was Kiley Kizziah. The Lady Eagles finish the season 4-4 in district play.
