Lamar CISD has named four administrators in advance of the 2019-2020 school year.
Dr. Andree Osagie is the new Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education. A graduate of the University of Houston, Osagie has his masters from the University of Houston- Clear Lake. In 2007, Osagie received his Doctorate from Texas A&M University. Osagie has over 20 years of educational experience and most recently served as the principal of Terry High School.
Juan Nava is the new principal of Terry High School. A graduate of Texas State University, he received his masters from Prairie View A&M University. Nava has over 26 years of educational experience and most currently served as the principal of Reading Junior High School.
Dr. Sonya Sanzo is the new principal of Reading Junior High School. A graduate of Texas State University, she received her masters from Sam Houston State University. In 2016, Sanzo received her Doctorate from the University of Houston. Sanzo has over 26 years of educational experience and most currently served as the principal of Wessendorff Middle School.
Lorena Callis is the new principal of Wessendorff Middle School. A graduate of Houston Baptist University, Callis received her masters from the University of Houston- Victoria. Callis has over 28 years of educational experience and most currently served as the assistant principal of Wessendorff Middle School.
