In light of alerts being issued by the National Weather Service, the Superintendent’s Office — along with the Operations Department — will continually monitor the weather situation for Tuesday and Wednesday (Jan. 28-29).
If the District makes the determination to close schools, or delay the start of school, parents will be notified by a district-wide phone call and email.
Information will be posted on the main page of www.lcisd.org, on our social media sites and the District will also inform the news media.
If for some reason, you do not receive a phone call, please be sure to check your email and/or the website for updates.
If you do not receive any notification of a change in schedule, all Lamar CISD campuses and offices will be open for normal hours.
