Due to predicted inclement weather and mobility issues, the District is adjusting next week’s school schedule to ensure all Lamar CISD students and staff remain safe.
On Monday, Feb. 15, all Lamar CISD campuses and facilities will be closed. There will be no on-campus or virtual classes for students on this day.
On Tuesday, Feb. 16, Lamar CISD will pivot to virtual instruction. While campuses and facilities will remain closed, students will complete asynchronous virtual lessons through Canvas. Students will need to complete the lessons by 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 16 to be counted present.
Additionally, all extracurricular activities will be canceled on Monday, Feb. 15 and Tuesday, Feb. 16.
