Terry High School spread cheer this holiday season through their annual Santa Smiles program. The program’s purpose is to provide small gift bags to selected students that teachers feel could use an extra smile during the holidays.
This year, the teachers, administrators and staff contributed more than $1,000 to the program in addition to toiletries, clothes, food and gift cards. The program was coordinated by teachers Phyllis Schooler and Nitza Batista.
Terry High School Principal Dr. Andree Osagie personally handed out each of the 107 gift bags to his students.
