Velasquez Elementary Wildcats partner with the Houston Zoo to help Mozambique’s Niassa National Reserve in Africa with their Niassa Lion Project and Lion Fun Days.
This year our Wildcats brought in over $2,000 to help the Lion Project! Mrs. Vacek's Kindergarten class raised the most and will be taking a trip to the Houston Zoo later this year.
