At its regular May meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees approved Dr. Jonathan Maxwell as the Executive Director of Student Programs.
Maxwell is currently the Executive Director of Assessment and Evaluation at Clear Creek ISD. He served as Accountability and School Improvement Coordinator, Elementary Math and Science Curriculum Coordinator and teacher in Katy ISD.
He has a bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, his master’s from UT-Austin and a doctorate from Texas A&M University.
In his new position, Maxwell will oversee Special Education, Technology Development, Advanced Studies, Bilingual Curriculum & Instruction and Performing and Visual Arts.
