Realignment will bring Calhoun Sandcrabs into the district

Feb 05, 2014 | Community Relations

The realignments for UIL Athletics are out and the four Lamar CISD schools will face slightly different foes as they battle for district titles in a new classification.

George Ranch, Foster, Lamar Consolidated and Terry high schools are still grouped together and will play in 24-5A. The UIL created a 6A category for the state's largest schools.

Angleton and Calhoun (Port Lavaca) high schools will be the district foes. Bay City and Brazosport will now compete in District 12 4A Division I.
