Not that she needs a nickname, but try this on for size:

Peyton Green: Jean Teen.

Peyton collected 800 pairs of blue jeans and donated them through DoSomething.org, a website which allows young people to address whatever social change they want to tackle.

The website says the Teens for Jeans program has collected more than 4.3 million pairs of jeans, which are in turn donated to homeless teens.

Aeropostale is the sponsoring company for the drive and Peyton delivered the jeans to the Katy store Feb. 12.

Peyton also has the opportunity for a $10,000 scholarship. Her name is entered into a drawing once for every two pairs of jeans donated, so she has 400 chances at the scholarship.

Also, if Peyton’s school, Foster High School, donated the most jeans, the school receives a $5,000 grant.

Peyton is a senior at Foster  and captain of the cheer team. Peyton will attend Harding University.
