What's Happening at Foster!

School Day SAT for All Juniors
On March 3, 2021 Foster High School will administer the SAT School Day to all students enrolled in 11th grade. The district will cover the cost of the SAT School Day and students will not need to pay. All on campus juniors for the 5th six weeks will automatically be registered for this test. For planning purposes, we are requiring that all virtual juniors register using this link if they plan to report to campus on March 3rd to take this test.

Junior—SAT School Day Registration

The registration deadline is Monday, February 15, 2021. Please note that the SAT School Day must be taken in person and there is not a virtual testing option. This link can also be found in Canvas under the Counselor’s Corner. Virtual students registered to take the SAT School Day will receive an email with additional test day information on or before February 24, 2021. Course Selection for 2021-2022
Course Selection for 2021-2022 is officially OPEN through February 6th!! You can access your student's Career Plan through their Skyward account.  FHS Counselors have been busy with 9th, 10th, & 11th graders this week helping to select courses for the 2021-2022 school year. Course Selection information and a presentation were sent out last week, but if you have any questions please contact your child's counselor.

5th Six Weeks Learning Model Change
If you would like to change your child's 5th six weeks learning to face to face or virtual, the timeframe to do that is January 25 - February 5. 
The Learning Model Change will be available in the Parent's Skyward Access Center. You must login as the parent in order to make changes.

Semester 1 Credit Recovery Opportunity
FHS is offering an opportunity to "recover" credit to any student who failed 1st semester. Please click here for more information and to see which classes qualify.

Important Textbook Information

Students who still owe textbooks from last school year, will need to turn those in to the front office. Students who have an outstanding textbook will not be allowed to check any books out this school year. Here's the link to the form "Foster High School Textbook Request Form 2020-2021"

Enrollment and Withdrawal Process
Information regarding enrollment for 2020-21 is posted to the district Register Online page.
