Foster's Garcia a QuestBridge finalist

Foster High School senior Santiago Garcia is a finalist in the QuestBridge College Match Scholarship program.

Scholarship recipients are granted admission to one of QuestBridge's partner colleges with a full, four-year scholarship worth more than $200,000. Partner colleges use a combination of their own funds as well as state and federal aid to fund the scholarship. 

Partner colleges include Brown, the California Institute of Technology, Columbia, Dartmouth, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northwestern, Princeton, Rice, Stanford,Notre Dame, the University of Chicago, the University of Pennsylvania, Southern California, Vanderbilt and Yale.

QuestBridge is a national non-profit organization that connects exceptional students from low-income backgrounds with admission and full scholarships to selective colleges. By serving as the bridge between students and institutions of higher education,QuestBridge aims to increase the percentage of talented low-income students attending the nation’s best universities.

This scholarship is offered as part of a generous financial aid package provided by the QuestBridge partner college that covers the cost of attendance, including:

• Tuition and fees;
• Room and board;
• Books and supplies; and
• Travel expenses.
All College Match scholarship packages come with no parental contribution and no student loans.
