Safety reminders:

• For safety reasons, you may not drop off your child at the street in front of the school or along the side of the school. Only buses and daycare vans may drop off at the back of the school for afternoon dismissal.
• Parking at the The Learning Experience daycare is not allowed.
• Pull up to the next numbered “Paw” or person located on the drive and the sidewalk.
• Parents should be ready to let children out of the car as soon as you stop. Use of your cell phone is prohibited. Please help keep all students safe and do not use your phone in the drop off line.
• Our Security Resource Officers (SRO) assist at the corner of Mirandola Ln. and W. Lugano Verde Dr. Please use caution in the area and follow the directions provided by him.
• Parents may walk their children up to the school in the morning, to the point where staff members are located, and they will escort them into the building.

Transportation Changes

Transportation changes must be submitted to the front office before 1:45 p.m.  Transportation changes must be submitted by phone call or by a written note.

Versatrans MyStop Information

Lamar CISD was recently named a hypergrowth district, which requires significant planning to ensure our schools remain a great place to learn, and our students get the best education available. For the 2024-2025 school year, and in alignment with our mission to remain a destination District, Lamar CISD is moving from Smart Tag to Tyler Technologies Versatrans My Stop ™ (My Stop).

This change will require all parents/guardians to complete a Transportation Form. We are requesting this form to be filled out for all current and new students including bus riders, car riders, bike riders, and/or walkers.

 Dress Code

Collared (polo style) solid color tops in white, navy blue, light blue, red, black, or gray. Approved spirit shirts or Lamar CISD secondary shirts. Bottoms may be solid khaki, navy blue, black or blue denim jeans, pants, capris, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers.
