Mr. Terrell

Bernard Clifton Terrell, Jr. lived a full life, filled with inspiring service and remarkable achievements. In 1931, he was born and raised in Waco, Texas, and then bravely served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After four years of service, he went on to graduate from Baylor University in 1955 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing/Economics and used that education to serve his community.

Mr. Terrell was a highly respected member of St. John's United Methodist Church, where he chaired the Administrative Council. Throughout his career, he held various positions in different organizations, including Executive Vice President for the Rosenberg/Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. With his expertise in business and exemplary dedication, he earned membership in the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives, and Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Executives. Additionally, he was invited to serve on the Fort Bend Economic Development Council's Executive Committee and the Rosenberg Downtown Development Association. Mr. Terrell was also Vice President for the Fort Bend Literacy Council and was an Advisory Board member for The George Foundation in Richmond. He was a valued member of the First United Methodist Church in Rosenberg. 

Mr. Terrell valued action more than words. He was the kind of person who served himself last, and naturally gave credit to those around him. He understood the power of working together and used that influence to create positive change in the community. 

Mr. Terrell's legacy will inspire future generations to approach education, work, and family with humility, dedication, and a smile. His contributions made a significant difference and will be remembered for years to come.
