Transportation Changes

Transportation changes must be submitted to the front office before 4:00 pm.

Changes must be made by a phone call to the front office.  Email is not permitted for making transportation changes.  Students leaving early must be picked up by 4:00 pm.

NEW IMPORTANT INFORMATION
FOR 2024-2025

   To plan accordingly for your student, please review a list of important dates below:

  • Sunday, August 4: Deadline to submit Transportation Form for students who want to receive bus transportation on the first day of school (Monday, August 12).

  • Monday, August 5 – Wednesday, August 21: During this time, if families fill out the Transportation Form requesting bus transportation for a student, the student will start receiving bus transportation on Monday, August 26.

  • Thursday, August 22 and beyond: During this time, if families fill out the Transportation Form requesting bus transportation for a student, the student will start receiving bus transportation five school days after the form is submitted.

Registration Information

Complete the registration application online at www.lcisd.org before bringing in required documents to school.

Required Documents:

-Certified Birth Certificate

-Student's Social Security Card

-Current Immunization Record

-Parent/Guardian's Drivers License

-Proof of Residence i.e. Fixed Utility Bill (water, gas or electric)

-Most recent report card if coming from another district

Any missing documents will delay the registration process, please have all documents ready when you come to the campus.

Marching Band Contest Results and Information

Lamar CISD would like to congratulate all of our marching bands for a successful marching season! This past weekend, the Lamar Consolidated High School Band finished 11th out of 18 and the Terry High School Band finished 12th out of 18 at the UIL 5A Area E Marching Contest Prelims.

The District extends its congratulations to the Foster High School Band for a second place finish in the UIL 5A Area E Marching Band Contest Finals and the Fulshear High School Band for a third place finish at the UIL 5A Area E Marching Band Contest Finals this past weekend in Katy. 

Foster and Fulshear will now advance to the UIL 5A State Marching Band Contest Prelims on Nov. 1, 2021 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. This will be the fifth time in school history for Foster High School to advance to State, and the second time in school history for Fulshear High School to advance to State. This is the first time for Lamar CISD to advance two bands to the UIL State Marching Band Contest in the same year. Thirty-three bands from across the State of Texas qualified for the 2021 UIL 5A State Marching Band Contest. The top 12 scoring bands in 5A Prelims will advance to 5A Finals on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

State Marching Contest Single Session Tickets are $20 (excluding Ticketmaster fees) and can be purchased online at: https://www.alamodome.com/events/detail/uil-state-marching-band-2021. Combination Prelims and Finals tickets are $35 (excluding Ticketmaster fees).

Randle High School - 4A Area Marching Contest Information

The Randle High School Band will compete at the UIL 4A Area E Marching Contest at Calallen ISD Wildcat Stadium in Corpus Christi on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 11:30am.

Admission charge for the general public is $5 per person. No charge for pre-school children (age 5 and under).

George Ranch High School – 6A Area Marching Contest Information

The George Ranch High School Band will compete at the UIL 6A Area E Marching Contest at Clear Creek ISD Challenger Columbia Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 2:45pm.
