The Houston Area Alliance of Black School Educators (HAABSE) has named Williams Elementary’s Crystel Ware as its 2017 Elementary Teacher of the Year.
Ware was chosen out of a pool of 140 teachers from across the Houston area. She was recognized Jan. 18 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
Ware is the Math and Science Facilitator at Williams.
