3. Discussion of Bank Account. Need to file for a 501.3C and tax-exempt status. Mrs. Wenglar volunteered to spear head that as far as gathering information and next steps.
4. Current PTO Funds: $ 693.82 minus $140.73 from the pizza and planes event.
5. Fundraiser Discussions:
   1. Fall Fest
   2. Father/Daughter Dance
   3. Mother/Son Game Night
   4. Pizza/Planes
   5. Movie Nights
6. Fall Fest- October 25, 2019 @ 5:30-8:00pm
   1. Proposal: Presale chicken fried steak dinners from Ben’s Chuck Wagon. Mrs. Haugvoll will be contacting to solidify details.
   2. Proposal: Chili Cook-Off. Was decided to push to another time. Possibly HLSR.
   3. Teacher experiences. Mrs. Stevens will be organizing and emailing teachers.
   4. Flyers. Mrs. Cloud will be sending those home in HOWL folders
   5. Games. Each grade level will be responsible for their games.
   6. Cake Walk, Concession, Silent Auction and Set up will be managed by PTO.
   7. Photo Booth backdrop will be done by Mrs. Cloud.
   8. Costume Contest will be ran by the SPED Department.

2. Movie Night
   • November 8^th6pm-8pm
   • Toy Story 4

   • J. Tatum will come early to cover the lights with paper.
   • Amber will track new PTO sign ups and send information to Sarah Stevens to add to the spreadsheet.

      

3. Pie Exchange
   • GRHS does something similar and a suggestion was brought up to create it here at Beasley.
   • Parents will be asked to donate a pie for teachers to take home over the Thanksgiving Break.
   • Pies will be accepted starting Thursday, November 21^st.
   • Amber Torres will create a flyer for Howl folders going out November 14^th
   • Haugvoll will do a call out on November 15^th

      

4. Cookies and Santa Letters
   • December 5^th5pm-7pm
   • King/Payne will get a list of students in need for the Christmas Present drive.
   • Bring a canned good to the event
   • Teachers will possibly start the letters to Santa in class so more students will be able to participate.

      

5. Membership Drive
   • The week of November 11^th
   • Class competition for the most PTO families signed up
   • Amber will create a pictograph in the cafeteria to track sign ups

      

      

6. Bank Account
   • Lisa Wenglar had the paperwork needed to start the process. Will get with Kimberly Resendiz to fill out and sign paperwork.
   • John Tatum and Amber Torres will orchestrate getting a PO Box set up.
   • Meeting with John Maxwell to assure all rules are followed.

      

7. Yearbook company will remain the same (Tree Ring).

   • Students will get a homework pass if “dad” participates
   • Haugvoll will send out a sky alert the week of 1/7/20 asking for participation
