GRHS STAAR Testing Dates:

Algebra I    May 6, 2019
Biology       May 7, 2019
US History  May 8, 2019   

Please note: Per the Texas Education Agency (TEA), the use of cell phones and other personal electronic devices including smartwatches, laptops, tablet computers, portable listening or recording devices, cameras or other photographic equipment, devices that can access the internet and any other electronic device during testing is not permitted during STAAR testing. Electronic devices must be powered off and turned in to the Test Administrator to hold until ALL students have completed the STAAR test. Unauthorized possession of any electronic device(s) during STAAR testing may result in invalidation of the student’s STAAR test and disciplinary action taken by campus administration.

George Ranch will be administering the ASVAB test on May 17. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB test please stop by the college center to register for the test. The deadline to register for the ASVAB test is May 1

Athletic Physicals

Athletic Physicals will be held on May 10th during your extra-curricular period.

All Athletes, Cheerleaders, Band and Drill Team Members are required to have an athletic physical each school year Dated after May 1st.  Cash preferred make checks out to GRHS activity fund#4. If you have any questions please contact Lance Hale or Shelby Jacobs.

Dear Colleague,
TheHispanic Scholarship Fund(HSF)reader application is now open! We are seeking volunteers, like you, to help us identify talented young leaders from our pool of scholarship Finalists.
As a reader, you will read and evaluate 25 essays, between now and April 30, 2019. Readers are required to complete a brief, online certification course, prior to receiving applicant essays. No travel will be required, and essays can be read wherever you have internet access (e.g., work, home, etc.).
To begin the reader application process, please create a 'volunteer' profile. If you already have an account,log into your MyHSF Portal. Once logged in via either link, you will see a reading glasses icon in the top right-hand corner. Click on that icon to begin your application.
If you wish to pause, you can save what you’ve done and continue filling out your application later, by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner and selecting "Reader."
Please Note: This role is offered on a strictly volunteer basis. No reimbursements or honoraria will be provided.
