My name is Brittany Carpenter, and I am elated to be a Gray Grizzly! It is a true honor to serve as the first assistant principal of Adriane Mathews Gray Elementary.
I received my bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and my master’s at American Intercontinental University- Houston. I have been an educator for 12 years and have served as a classroom teacher, English as a Second Language coach, district instructional coach, Intervention Coordinator, District Assistant Director for Professional Learning and a Texas Reading Academies Authorized Provider Administrator before becoming a campus administrator.
In addition to caring for LCISD students and families, I am a wife and mother to three loving children: Micah (6 years old), Aurora (9 years old), and Tristan (11 years old). I enjoy family time, gardening, travel, and cooking.
I am driven by my desire to equip teachers with the tools and skills they need to ensure every student can achieve success. My mission is to equip, inspire, and accelerate learning for each student at our school while building trusting relationships with teachers, families, and students. I look forward to a GRRREAAATTT year with the Grizzlies!
