Houses
Our House system is the heartbeat of PRMS, infusing our campus with a sense of magic and camaraderie. It’s not just a structure; it’s a vibrant community where every student and staff member belongs to one of four spirited houses, fostering a profound sense of pride and unity.
Students earn house points in a variety of exciting ways, celebrating their academic achievements and personal growth. Whether it's excelling in their grades, making notable improvements, or reaching their individual goals, every effort counts! Points can also be earned through acts of kindness, like helping to keep our cafeteria clean and welcoming. This collective spirit cultivates not only individual success but also a strong sense of teamwork.
Every three weeks, we come together in our house colors, transforming lunchtime into a thrilling competition filled with laughter and friendly rivalry. Our spirited events are not just about earning points; they’re about building connections and celebrating our unique house identities. At the conclusion of each six-week period, we announce the house that has triumphed, and a grand celebration ensues! It’s a moment filled with joy and pride as we cheer for our winning house, all while inspiring each other to reach new heights in the next round.
Importantly, we embody a culture of support and respect; we never boo another house. Instead, we celebrate our differences, recognizing that together, the four houses create the enchanting community that is PRMS. United, we are more than just individual houses; we are a team, working together to make our school a magical place for everyone!
REVEUR (blue) is the house of DREAMERS. They dream big ideas and then make it happen with hard work.
ALTRUISMO (yellow) is the house of GIVERS. They give everything in everything they do.
AMISTAD (orange) is the house of FRIENDSHIP. They hold a standard that all people are created equal and friendship is the path to success.
ISIBINDI (green) is the house of COURAGE. They stand up for what is right and have the courage to do the things they have never done.
Each student has been given a lanyard and ID with a plastic case. This lanyard is to be with them at all times when on our campus. This is MANDATORY for safety and will be a requirement through the entire maroon track.
