At its February meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees approved Heather Williams as the principal for Lindsey Elementary.
Lindsey Elementary will open in August and is located in the Firethorne West subdivision in Katy.
Williams comes to Lindsey from Stanley Elementary in Katy ISD, where she was named principal in 2012. She was also an assistant principal in Katy.
Williams worked in Lamar CISD as a Campus Instructional Technology Specialist at Briscoe Junior High, a teacher at Frost Elementary and a Gifted and Talented Facilitator at Austin Elementary. She also taught in Alief.
She has her bachelor’s from Stephen F. Austin University and her master’s from the University of Houston in Victoria.
