On Sep. 23, A.W. Jackson High School’s alumni group presented Jackson Elementary with a check for $1,000. Before becoming Jackson Elementary in 1997, 301 Third Street was home to Jackson High School. Since the inception of the elementary school, graduates of Jackson High School have continued to support Jackson Elementary.
