Lamar CISD Employee Recognition: 40 Years of Service

May 10, 2021 | Community Relations

Each year, Lamar CISD honors employees for their service to the students of Lamar CISD. We’re grateful for the individuals below and thank them for their 40 of service to our District.

In 1981, the world marveled as NASA launched their first space shuttle mission, Columbia. Thirty-five years ago, one gallon of gas would ring up at approximately $1.31, the year’s “Best Picture” was Ordinary People, Muhammad Ali retired and Post It Notes were released.

Back in 1981, Walterine Fountain also joined the Lamar CISD family.
