Middle School (6) and Junior High Summer (7-8) Programs
Session 1 & 2 for Credit Restoration for 6th, 7th, 8th Graders
The sessions are for students who have failed core content classes (ELA, Writing, Math, Science, or History). Middle School and Junior High School students will be enrolled in the required summer school courses by their school counselors. The school counselors will notify parents and students that they are required to attend summer school and provide all necessary information pertaining to the summer school courses through Edgenuity. High School Summer Programs
Initial Credit and Credit Restoration Classes
High school students (including incoming 9th graders) will need to self-register online through Family Access in Skyward and pay for original credit courses online using GoFan (no fees for credit restoration courses). The Skyward registration platform is ready and students may register for courses starting May 28 through June 12. High school counselors will verify and approve student course enrollment.
Session #1 and #2 – Summer School for Original Credit and Credit Restoration
Registration Dates: May 28 – June 12, 2020
Online Registration is required for both initial credit & credit recovery courses through Family Access. Initial credit courses are available to 8th-12th graders and must be paid in full by June 28, 2020.
- Session #1 will be held Monday, June 29th through Tuesday, July 14, 2020 – virtual courses through Edgenuity.
- Session #2 will be held Wednesday, July 15th through Thursday, July 30, 2020 – virtual courses through Edgenuity.

High School Summer School Registration and Payment Instructions
Payments must be made by June 28, 2020. All payments must be received in full by June 28 or the student will be dropped from the course (this only applies to initial credit courses).

Dual Credit Information
LCISD will be offering Dual Credit Government, Psychology, and Sociology courses this summer in partnership with Lone Star College. This opportunity is available for students at all five of our high schools. The courses will be online taught through Lone Star College and facilitated by a certified LCISD teacher.
- Each course is $73. Please contact your Dual Credit Counselor for more information about the program.
Out of District & Non-LCISD Students
Students who live outside of the LCISD school zones are considered out of district and will need to pay out of district course fees. Students who do not attend LCISD but live within LCISD school zones qualify for in district course fees. Any students who has never been enrolled in a LCISD school will need to enroll before registering for summer courses.
