Become a Volunteer
We are excited to share that the 2026–2027 VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) application is now open! Applications will be accepted from July 13, 2026, through May 7, 2027.
If you plan to volunteer in our schools during the upcoming school year, we encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible. The approval process can take up to four days, so applying early will help ensure you are ready to participate in campus events and activities when opportunities arise.

Volunteering
Involves interaction with multiple students beyond your own child.
Raptor Specifics:
- Requires VIPS approval process
- Includes an extended background check
- Takes 3–5 business days
- Must be approved before volunteer participation
- Does NOT have to be listed in Skyward
Examples:
- Chaperoning
- Helping in classrooms
- Assisting at events
Non-Negotiables:
- Must be 18 years +
- A valid SSN
- A valid email address
- A valid state issued ID
Visiting
Limited to your own child or a short-term campus purpose.
Raptor Specifics:
- Processed once arriving on campus
- ID is scanned at front desk
- Visitor badge is printed
- Instant approval/denial
- Must be listed in Skyward
Examples:
- Lunch visits
- Attending a meeting, awards assembly, or program
- Going on a field trip w/ your child
Non-Negotiables:
- Must be 18 years +
- Must have a valid state issued ID
