Mentors offer students a pathway to expand their life perspectives, overcome obstacles, and build on their strengths to make positive choices and develop essential school and life skills.

Here are the steps to become a mentor in Lamar CISD:

1.) Apply to mentor by completing the volunteer application found

2.) Complete the district background check found

When you have completed these steps, you will be contacted by the district Partners in Education Coordinator with further information.
