The purpose of the Business Office is to effectively utilize the financial resources of the district to ensure the success of all students in the LCISD. Our job is to ensure that state and federal laws are understood and followed, as well as policies required by the local school board and the Texas Education Agency. Our goal is to provide assistance as efficiently and accurately as possible to all who are involved in the educational process for LCISD.

The Budget and Compliance Office is responsible for the preparation, adoption, support and monitoring of the district’s annual budget.

The Finance Office is responsible for all financial accounting of the school district funds.

The Purchasing and Materials Management Office is responsible for the organization and administration of purchasing, warehouse, textbooks and asset systems.
