Custodial Services

The Custodial Department works collaboratively with Lamar CISD campuses and departments to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments that support student success and daily operations. The department is committed to more than cleanliness, focusing on creating spaces that foster a positive atmosphere for learning, collaboration, and growth across the district.

The department directs and manages custodial services across more than 8 million square feet of facility space, supported by a diverse team of over 450 dedicated professionals. Custodial staff provide comprehensive cleaning and maintenance services, ensuring campuses and buildings remain safe, functional, and inviting for students, staff, and visitors. Through a strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail, the team contributes to the overall well-being and productivity of the district community.
